A Christ-honoring History
Thirty years ago, committed pastors and leaders from various Gospel-based churches prayed over the counseling needs of the Christians in the Capital Region of upstate New York. God answered those prayers. The vision for a counseling service dedicated to an evangelical framework took shape. From those early days of part-time counselors and offices in church basements, the service grew significantly and experienced God’s rich blessing. By grace, CCA counselors witnessed numerous restored lives, marriages, and families!
A Contemporary Christian Clinic
Today, CCA is a professional practice under the direction of psychologists Brian L. Fast, Psy.D. and Rev. Stephen P. Greggo, Psy.D. The staff is a blend of psychologists, social workers, life coaches, pastoral counselors, interns and gifted administrators who serve CCA as their major employment while remaining accountable to local pastors to maintain a solid church connection.
Counselors with a High Calling
CCA staff are committed evangelical Christians, and fully trained, New York State credentialed and qualified counselors. Counselors provide guidance by applying their knowledge of psychological and Biblical principles to the stresses of contemporary living. Spiritual resources are vital to the counseling process.
